This program help students to learn about their own talents, by taking lot they decided which department participating first, and the  instructions are

1. Max 45 minutes only

2. Keep the decorum of student teachers (refrain from vulgar contents, dual meaning expressions etc. )

3. Try not to delay in between the items

World Ozone Day

Taare Zameen Par at MTTC

In our free hour we saw a movie named Taare Zameen Par, this movie discussed about, a boy named Ishaan  and he is criticised by his parents for his poor academic performance and is sent away to a boarding school. Ram, an art teacher, however, realises he has dyslexia and helps him uncover his potential.

We learned about  -

Dyslexia

A learning disorder characterised by difficulty reading.

Dyslexia occurs in children with normal vision and intelligence.

Symptoms

Speed of processing: slow

spoken and/or written language.

Poor concentration.

Difficulty following instructions.

Forgetting words.

Problems with spelling.

Mispronouncing names or words, or problems retrieving words.

International Literacy Day

International Literacy Day on September 8 highlights the importance of literacy and education for personal development and societal progress. It was first observed by UNESCO in 1967 and aims to promote global literacy.  

Mar Theophilus  Training College conducted International Literacy Day and the session was inaugurated by Dr. Joju John sir and the lecture was given by Dr. Raghu sir.

It was a very informative and thought-provoking session to understand more about our educational process and its fabrications and new trends in education.

Capacity Building Activity

Mr Manoj G session inagurated by Mar Theophilus Training College principal Dr JoJu John Sir.

It was a vibrant session which was filled with interesting activities, he tried to convey ideas in a simple and effective way. Also he ensured everyone's participation unknowingly. Sir tried to convey many ideas through interesting and interactive activities. Very interesting and valuable session class was very productive, we got more than what we expected all the students were participating in the sessions, not even a second none of us were distracted .

September 5 Teachers Day,

birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the country’s first Vice President and former President, scholar, philosopher, and Bharat Ratna awardee, who was born on this day in 1888.

Dr. Radhakrishnan once stated that “teachers should be the best minds in the country."
