International Literacy Day on September 8 highlights the importance of literacy and education for personal development and societal progress. It was
first observed by UNESCO in 1967 and aims to
promote global literacy.
Mar Theophilus Training College conducted International Literacy Day and the session was inaugurated by Dr. Joju John sir and the lecture was given by Dr. Raghu sir.
It was a very informative and thought-provoking session to understand more about our educational process and its fabrications and new trends in education.
