Short Film Screening

Hiroshima Day Observation
07-08-2024 Wednesday

NSS unit of Mar Theophilus Training College in collaboration with St. John's Model HSS has conducted a short Film Screening on Remembering Hiroshima as part of the Hiroshima Day Observation for the highschool students of St. John's HSS.

The film depicted the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in 1945, highlighting the tragic loss of life and the long-lasting impact on survivors. The screening was followed by a thoughtful discussion, where students reflected on the horrors of war and the need for global harmony.

Student Techers from Mar Theophilus Training College have delivered talk on the importance of World Peace and the need for disarmament.

The event aimed to educate and sensitize the students about the significance of disarmament and the pursuit of peace. It encouraged them to become ambassadors of non-violence and to strive for a world free from nuclear threats.

The observance of Hiroshima Day at St. John's School served as a powerful reminder of the importance of promoting peace, tolerance, and international cooperation.

_"May the lessons of Hiroshima guide us towards a future where peace and compassion triumph over conflict and destruction."_
